MARCH 7, 2021 - Tel Aviv-Yafo hosts Green Pass concert series at Bloomfield Stadium
The open-air concerts each hosted a vaccinated audience of up to 500 people and took place in accordance with the Green Pass.
Tel Aviv-Yafo, March 7 – Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality celebrated the return of the cultural sector with a series of concerts for vaccinated residents at Bloomfield Stadium this weekend (March 5-7, 2021).
The four concerts, open to residents eligible for the Green Pass, represent the first to be held at the recently-renovated Bloomfield Stadium in Jaffa since its reopening in August 2019.
The open-air concerts each hosted an audience of up to 500 people and took place in accordance with Green Pass restrictions. Upon arrival, concertgoers presented their Green Pass and identity card. The audience sat in allocated seats to ensure social distancing.
Ron Huldai, Mayor of Tel Aviv-Yafo: "We have been pushing for many months to permit large performances in public spaces, and I am happy that this is now a possibility. We are determined to return to a routine of cultural and leisure events, which are the lifeblood of the first Hebrew city."
The concerts followed another celebration of culture at Wohl Amphitheater on February 24, when iconic singer Nurit Galron performed for vaccinated retired and senior residents in the city.
