The highlight of the Eurovision events in Tel Aviv will be the largest Eurovision Village in the world, overlooking the Mediterranean coastline at Charles Clore Park. The Eurovision Village will be open to the public from May 12-18 from the afternoon until the evening and will showcase performances by Israeli artists such as Static and Ben El, Stephane Legar, and former Eurovision superstars such as Dana International and Izhar Cohen. In addition, the Semi-finals and the Final will be projected on giant screens at the Eurovision Village and visitors will be able to enjoy the sea breeze while sitting at a giant bar overlooking the sea, surrounded by remarkable light compositions, created by the official lighting partner of Eurovision; OSRAM.

FRIDAY SHABBAT DINNERS
Shabbat dinners, held at sunset on Fridays, are a cultural staple of many Israeli families - secular and religious. Most local families gather together with family and friends on a weekly basis. The Shabbat Dinner project will match tourists of any religion and cultural background with local host families for a meaningful night around a Shabbat dinner table. Tourists from around the world will take part in a unique immersive experience and will enjoy a home cooked meal while learning about Jewish traditions that have been observed for centuries. This project aligns with the growing travel trend of experiential tourism, where tourists seek to be immersed in the local culture and are on the lookout for authentic experiences.

LIGHTING UP JAFFA'S OLD CITY
Thanks to a joint project with OSRAM, manufacturers of lighting solutions, tens of thousands of people worldwide will be able to affect the lighting in Jaffa's historic and monumental Old City during the semi-finals and the grand final, Clearly visible from the Eurovision Village and along the Tel Aviv coastline, the colors of the lights will change in line with the users' votes for each song, streamed live using the official Eurovision app.
THE EUROVISION CHILDREN'S GARDEN
The children of Tel Aviv 2019 will be able to participate in a special version of Eurovision voting for kids. The Eurovision Children's Garden will operate at one of the city's favorite spots for families - Orchestra Plaza. While the kids vote on social media, the garden's loud speakers will play special children's songs from past Eurovision contests.
TEL AVIV WHITE NIGHT
The Tel Aviv White Night will take place on May 16, on the night of the 2nd Semi Final of the Eurovision contest. During the White Night, as the sun goes down, Telavivians and tourists are invited to wander through the many events and exhibitions taking place around the city - from the official Eurovision Village through cultural centers, museums, bars, open spaces, beaches and much more, until the sun rises and shines over the White City. Tel Aviv White Night is one of the biggest events of the year, and the Eurovision week is the ideal time for these celebrations. The events and performances are open to the public, most of them free of charge.
Tel Aviv Port will offer a huge library of records, where visitors will be welcome to walk around the records and choose one from the shelf they want to hear.

THE ROYAL PLAYBACK ORCHESTRA IN OLD JAFFA
An "orchestral performance" that is open to the public and encourages audience participation. It combines music and acting and introduces the public to a classical orchestra.

DANA INTERNATIONAL: THE EXHIBITION
The Tel Aviv Port, in cooperation with the Municipality of Holon, presents "Beresheet”: Dana International: The Exhibition, a special two-week event in honor of the Eurovision Song Contest, held this year in Israel!
A huge radio will be installed on the North Deck at the Jaffa Port. It will not only be a sculpture, but an actual radio that works! You can turn the buttons, switch stations and turn the volume up and down. The radio has five music stations – oldies but goodies, current hits, Arabic music, classical music, and a station featuring Eurovision song hits.

PIC YOUR FLAG ON CITY HALL
During international events and to show solidarity with countries around the world and special events in Israel, Tel Aviv's iconic City Hall building is often lit in the colors of different flags. Eurovision fans around the world will be able to select their national flag and have it displayed on the building.

ISRAELI CULINARY WORKSHOP WITH THE DRAG QUEEN ZIONA PATRIOT
The first workshop of its kind led by the leading drag queen in Israel - Ziona Patriot - who competed in the first season of Bake Off Israel. Participants will learn how to prepare a typical Israeli meal: pita bread, tabbouleh salad, tahini, halva mousse and more.
Inspired by the Countries, Cities and songs of the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, The exhibition combines a group of artists; painters, sculptors and photographers, who will display their works of art related to the Eurovision songs as a tribute to each country.
